I have been working on my family history for less than two weeks, and have been amazed at the success I have had in tracing members of my rapidly extending family! I have been in contact with my father's cousin Vera and we are planning to meet very soon. She has already sent photos of my paternal great grandparents. I have put my 84 year old mother-in-law in touch with a cousin, they have since spoken to each other, after so many years!! I have also found two more of her ancestors family and added them to our tree to show the link. I have, only today, added some of my stepmothers ancestors and have now had contact from another member of that side of our family! The opportunities are endless and I have Genes Reunited to thank for all of this. I am well and truly hooked!!!! It's so addictive!! Many thanks and happy hunting to all!!! |
