Myself Violet Foot nee Humphreys and other Genes Reunited members have been very successful in finding out about our side of the families the HUMPHREYS. We are now linked up as second cousins and 2nd cousins once removed and have had lots of fun and pleasure contacting thru Genes Reunited. Like finding needles in a haystack at times I am grateful to my grandson Wesley Foot and to ancestry members Jill Gasgoine and TracyHolt, Denise Scott and Shirley Tarrant who have been wonderfully helpful and great fun to communicate with. and other members who I am in contact with...they too are a pleasure to chat with in writing. \they all deserve to be called female Sherlock Holmes! Not only are Wesley and myself researching the Humphreys family we are also at the same time researching the Foot family...some info which my little grey cells produced from my bacon bonce reminded me of past memories from which Wesley was able to find out oodles of info on the Foot family. Karen Manly has moved to France but has linked up again and I will let Wesley know about the Foot family she mentions to see if there is a link. It will be nice if there is. Thank you Genes reunited for giving an added fillip to my life.......and to think I was once timorous about computers.....I still am really but I'm getting there!! Kindest wishes to everyone.
