Isn't it funny how the words 'Thank you' can seem so inadequate at times? They don't really express enough what I want to relay to the very special people on this site. Roughly a year ago I started searching for my maternal grandmother. All I had was a name on a birth cert and a passion to find her. So many amazing and talented people came to my aid and helped me. Not only did they trawl through decades of BMD's but they also visited local registry offices, searched electrol rolls and phone listings and posted off letters on my behalf. This week I was contacted by one of my grandmother's children. We have been getting aquainted via e-mails and phone calls and within the next few months he will be flying out to Australia to meet his sister, my mother, for the first time in 67 years. So here are those totally inadequate words: Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. Deb:) |
