We started looking for my Mum's birth mother in Feb 07, we only had a name and address form 59 years ago. Lots of people from this site helped with bits of information they had searched and found. We found my half brother Terry- wife Rosemary - their 3 daughters he also has 2 others brothers and best of all Ive found my MUM!!! We met up with my brother this week and in a few weeks we will meet again but with my mother also!!!! She phoned me on fathers day and it was wonderful, we both had so much to say and she always hoped I would find her. Thanks to all the kind people who have given advice and their own time to help us. Linda xxx A very happy daughter... |
