Pettipher Family I have searched and searched for my fathers family for over forty years with the out success. So I contacted genes reunited putting my profile on the message board. This was in the year 2000 . No results so I desided to re -apply the infomation on the Pettipher family last year . With a stroke of luck some one did see it and it was my half brother I never knew I had . He lives in Canada and after searching for me in Sussex in caught up with me in January . We spoke on the phone and my husband and I flew out in April to meet him and his family. I also have family in Canada on my Mothers side and after chatting to Nigel my half brother about my mothers relations in Canada and telling him thier names and where they lived it turns out that one of them being my cousin on my mothers side is married to Nigels wife Thelma cousin . How strange is that . For that to happen must be a million to one chance of happening . We met them all and have been in contact with other Pettipher family in Warwick and they are coming to stay in July to meet me and my husband. All my life there has just only been me now I belong to a very large family . AND FOR THIS I THANK GENES REUNITED THANK YOU > From Sussex to Warwick and back to Canada . Yours Thank You Mrs Angie Goldsmith . |
