I have been researching my family since 1986. It all started as an attempt to provide my father with some idea of his origins and then it sort of snowballed. You know how it is... For four years I have trawled this site and many others. I've gained a lot of information, but all about people who have already passed. I've read messages from other people who are losing heart and have always tried to encourage them to keep going. Finally, finally, with some help from Deb in Vancouver (thanks Deb) I have made contact with distant cousins in Canada. They called me last night but I was out, so I will call tonight. I cannot tell you how pleased I am. At long last it is all coming together. I would urge everyone to keep going. Your people are out there...all you have to do is find them. Sheila
