Being taken fm my parents (along with my siblings)72 yrs ago I thought I was the sum total of the family. However I met 2 of my sisters in 1941 and kept in contact with them and in 1950 I found my brother. 21 yrs after separation we were all together agn including a 3rd sister along with spouses and kids. I went my merry way and then in the 80's I started looking for the rest of my mums family. I located them all and have met quite a number. This after some 56yrs of looking on and off. The search lapsed until I got my a up-to-date PC.This yr I decided to join Genesreunited. I had been going thru Hants Genealogical Society and had built up a big tree but nothing on my fathers side.I posted a msg and within a short time I had info on his family and have got them to round 1891,Thanks goes to Mick Coomber and his wife.I have also found relatives in the USA and others in the UK.Some are a fair bit removed but still blood relatives. I thank all those people with whom I've had contact and built my try.I don't know how many relatives I have but it's many. Fm a sum of 5 it is now many hundreds and goes back to c1560 It is still ongoing and I still wish to find present day relatives. I'm most appreciative of the help given and will be meeting up with newly found relatives of my late parents when I and my partner visit the UK next yr GenesReunited surely is a wonderful site to locate long lost and unkown relatives.Especially when one is thousands of kms away on the other side of the world..
