This site has always been and always will be the best by a long way for finding members of your family. Over the last few years I have managed to trace virtually every branch of my VERY fractured family and ALL of it has involved Genesreunited in some way or another. I have managed to trace 1st, 2nd and even 3rc cousins using this website and this has been despite divorce, children being put into care, black sheeps, wars etc. The latest triumph came in finding my Dad's long lost cousins, who he's never met. By chance a member on here contacted me to say that we had the same name in our family trees and were they the same person? It turned out they were and a few messages later it turned out that the person in the tree was one of those missing cousins. Soon the other member had traced where they first got the information from and before long they managed to track down the cousin, who is now living in Canada. We have now exchanged E Mails and I have a great gift to give my Dad on his 60th Birthday this weekend... after NINE YEARS of searching!!!!!! Keep up the good work Genesreunited! |
