Hi Early in march of this year I had a great desire to try and trace my family tree. All I had to go on was my mothers maiden name and that she was born in 1912. With my father all I had was his name and that he came from somewhere in London. To date I have got back to 1746, with my mothers side of the family. I have also found a sister I knew nothing about, sadly now dead but am in contact with her daughter in australia. Have'nt got far with my father as I have been to busy with my mothers side. I have traced my father to the house he was in, along with his parents, at the time he was born. I am just awaiting his birth certificate. I wonder what surprises I will find out about him !!!!!!! Speak to you all soon. |
