NOT SURE IF THIS A SUCCESS OR NOT...read on! My daughter recently worked on a family tree project for school. I was born in Widnes, but now live in Canada, so my Uncle, who's still in England put together some info for her on my mom's side, and my dad & his brother helped her with their side. When reviewing their findings...unbenownst to anyone, my mom's dad's mom has the same last name as my dad's family and they are from the same small town. After searching and contacting a couple of people on here, I did in fact find out that my great-grandmother on my mom's side and my great-grandfather on my father's side, were 1st cousins (their dad's were brothers), making my grandfathers 2nd cousins, and my parents 3rd cousins. I knew Widnes was too small for them not to be related. I feel like one of the Royal Family now, with all this interbreeding!
