After two years of research I have now found my fathers half sister, the last time they saw each other was 72 years ago, when my father was only 7 years old and wasn't even sure if he had a sister. It was my fathers 79th birthday Sunday and we took him to met his sister, a wonderful 88 year old. It was a wonderful occassion and after not having any family on his side he now has a sister, two nephews and a niece.It has been a long journey but could not have been possible without Genes Reunited and Robert who posted a message 3 years ago. Thankyou both. |
