Thanks Genes Reunited. The knowledge of my family tree only went back two generations but in about 12 months I have traced one line back to the 17th century, thanks to other Genes Reunited members who I've found are distant relations. I have also managed to reunite my brother with one of his daughters that he hadn't seen for nearly 30 years. My wife has traced a massive line that even her late father never new existed and has made contact with a cousin from that line. I have also made contact with a cousin that I never new existed too. There are still plenty of blocks in this research but it is very exciting when a discovery is made. |
