Through genesreunited I'm in regular contact with a cousin (from my mother's side of the family) that I hadn't seen since 1970 and subsequently my aunt. Also, on my father's side, amazingly, I've been in contact and now actually met two cousins that I didn't know existed!!!!!!!!!!! My dad moved away during the war and he lost touch with his siblings. My cousins have shared photos that I would never of had the chance of seeing - how fantastic is it to see a picture of your gt grandparents from 1885? We always wondered where my son's physical characteristics come from - he is so much like his gt uncle and gt gt grandfather :-) Genesreunited is a fab place. It's certainly helped me find my roots and to belong! Sharon |
