i only juioned less that a fortnight ago after my dad died - it spurred me into looking into my family trree. Through the help and support of a few people on here i now have a tree going back into the 1600s and spreading out across the world! When less than a fortnight ago i didnt even know the real names of my grandparents! Have to say i have been amazed how helpful people are - and am in touch with my Nans cousin who i chat to a lot now, foud out about and a sibling of my grandad knew about - and found a cusin i didnt know existed! does make me wonder what else is still to be discovered :) |
