Don't usually come on here but I have solved a twenty five year old mistery. My gran used to tell me about a member of the family who had been a mayor in her home town but she could not remember any more about it. Back then I wasn't bothered about family trees so i never followed it up but it was always in my mind. Now at long last I have come to the bottom of it and found out who, what, why, where and when. I can't pass it on 'cos living family members will know about it. Just to say he was illegitamate. I can rest easy now and try to solve another cold case. Janet |
