I have placed messages on the 'Trying to Find Board' without much hope in my heart of finding living relatives - but it turned up trumps for me and together with successful 'hot matches' I am now in touch with several 'cousins' and 'removed' cousins from different branches of my family tree. Encouraged by this, I'm going to try again with another branch - and I really don't hold out much hope because the surname doesn't feature much on Genes Reunited ...... however - nothing ventured, nothing gained - so now it's over to the 'Trying to Find Board !! My thanks too to everyone on 'Genes' who has helped with my searches. Eileen |
