Happy to have traced my father's side of the family back to 1722, me being the first member of our family to research our genealogy. The greatest success however was being able to research into my mother's side of the family, confirming the link to the Vaughans of Golden Grove and therefore with the Welsh dynasties of old including the House of Gwynedd and Dinefwr. Even a distant link to such Welsh heroes such as Owain Glyndwr, Llywelyn ein Llyw Olaf and Henry Tudor is so exciting! |
