Joseph Stanley Payne Born.Barbados abt 1853. My first breakthrough searching for this family came from a FR member who discovered what l could not find in the Census - she was experienced enough to try words like Payne and found my ancesters down as Rayne!! After that l succeeded in finding over 100 relations and have held 2 family reunions! Next May off to Barbados to see what l can find there! My big stumbling block now is finding more about Joseph Stanley via Elder dDmpster Lines as he died at sea while working as ships cook in 1899..if anyone can advise me how l do this l would be most grateful. happy searching everyone Pat |
