I found my Uncle Bill's son and grandsons through the Hot Matches on Genes Reunited. My brother and I had always thought that Uncle Bill never married, so imagine our surprise when I was contacted by his grandson who recognised the name of Sophia Elizabeth who was my grandmother and Uncle Bill's mother! We met up in September and had lots of catching up to do. Our cousin - Uncle Bill's son still lives in the town where my brother and I were born but didn't feel able to make the reunion. Our 'new' second cousins are lovely and so are their wives! This is a real breakthrough for the family and thanks are due to Genes Reunited!! Pauline Baldwin |
