Elsie Report 23 Oct 2006 14:09

Elsie Homer nee Juniper ,H i everyone I only joined Genes last year after I decided to start tracing my family tree. I was contacted in March this year by Mavis Marsh who told me she was my half sister, I hate the ' half ' bit don't you. There is also a brother and they both live in Australia now. She had been searching for us for 60yrs!!!!! I never knew they even existed but it just goes to show --- never give up searching. Mavis sold her car to raise the fare to come over and meet us all in September, she is a lovely person ,it's so sad that we have missed so many years of knowing each other , thanks Genes .
