The past 24 hours have been wonderful. Last night, I had a message asking if the names of my husbands grandad matched what the other member had. They did. So did alll the other names he had got for this side of the family. It turned out that his mum is my husbands grandads long lost half sister. He had been trying to trace her for many years, until today. He now has her phone number and she will be coming over to meet up with him. A few dark secrets were unearthed, but they have made the whole thing more amazing. Between myself, the other member (will keep names private) and GR, we have made 2 elderly people very very happy indeed. Infact I have never seen or heard Pappie cry, but when we told him I had his half sister's son on the computer he cried, and when I gave him her number he cried again. Thank you. |
