A big big thank you to Carol Skillen who has helped me so much get to grips with tracing family. Through me joining this site I organised a little family event which involved the opening of a box which had been put into an uncles loft since my Nans death back in 1988. After sorting through it I now have more original certificates that will help me further with my tree. My Uncle was very pleased to be rid of the very large box from his loft. It would seem it was things that were just collected and stored for another day so sort it. Well that day came yesterday and it was a lovely day. Full of memories old photos (some very very very old ones) and some video footage of those who have died. I cannot believe that after such a short time on Genes so much has happened and I am so happy to carry on and on until I solve many mysteries within my complex family tree. Thanks Genes and a big thank you again to CAROL SKILLEN.
