I have used this website for quite a long time looking for family members with a varying amount of success. However, recently, my Mum (now 80) was feeling fed up and mentioned that although it had been good to make contact with some of the people she had worked with on the stage in 1940s, she wished she had been able to contact one other person. She had mentioned this on several occasions over the last year or so but that was as far as it went. I decided to see if I could find her name on this website and although it wasn't exactly genealogy I made contact with 3 people. I had replies from all of them, one positive. By the following day I had an address and email address to pass on to my Mum. The 2 ladies have been in contact and are enjoying sharing stories. Thanks to Genes reunited for helping me make my Mum happy. Alyson |
