I was absolutely delighted to find my brother's daughter, who I had never met, through Genes Reunited. I have been trying to contact my brother, Philip Woodfield, and his daughter for 3 years now, with no success. There was very little hope of finding my 15 year old niece, because she is known by her mother's maiden name and no one knew what it was, but luckily she had entered my brother's date of birth on her own family tree. That was enough to give me a match. I told my brother's older daughter the good news and she was as pleased as me. The sisters have already met and they seem to be becoming the best of friends. The only problem is that none of us have any idea where her father is. All we know is that Phil was living in Nucia Park near Benidorm 12 years ago. |
