Hello to each and everyone of you I started my tree only 3 years ago. I joined a College course who were offering a Family History Course for ( free), I was HOOKED by the end of it. I was already amember of one of the other reunited sites and Genes seemed a the correct choice of website to further my knowledge of my family of years ago. Someone made contact with me, whom I did not know, but he had so many names in his tree that were also in mine, births matched and birth places even spouses matched. It turned out he was married to the daughter of my dads Aunt ( no names need to be mentioned we all know how much harm it can do). Anyway I have done all I can to do my tree on my side of the family and have a brick wall on my hubbys side but with everyone passed away that could have given info to help out I turned again to Genes, were getting there. Have fun in searching your family. Wendy |
