Genes reunited have enabled me to be in touch with living distant relatives I never knew I had. Through sharing information, I have been able to piece together a huge family tree dating back to 1760's and have found out some fascinating things about my ancestors. The more I delve, the bigger the picture gets.The reward is knowing our family is still living and growing with several interested branches. In a way, it puts you more in touch with those now long gone. I have been able to visit thier graves and pay my respects, yet at the same time, chat to those still here, far spread and closer than I thought. What an intriguing hobby. Keep looking, you never know, you might be related to me too!!! |
