Pauline Lewis' success story

Just over three years ago I searched GenesConnected for my father. My parents divorced when I was eleven and I had not seen or heard from him since my mother remarried in 1960. I found his name immediately in another Family Tree. Strangely enough, and coincidentally, my mother died the following day! Four days later I had a reply from the lady in whose Family Tree my father's name appeared and she turned out to be my half-sister! Up until that day I had spent 55 years as an only child! So, a big thank you to Genes Reunited for allowing me to see my father again before it was too late - his prophetic words as he died less than a year after I met him again. Although I now live in Spain, my sister, Claire, visits me regularly. She, too, was an only child until I found our father's name on her Tree. So thank you from both of us, and from our father.
