Hi, I have only joined since July 2006. Within four weeks I have had my family tree go from 400 people whom I had traced by word of mouth to over 3000 with names dates certificate details and anecdotal stories. I have joined four other websites and this by far has given me the best return for such a small outlay which has more than paid for itself(one birth certificate copy now around$36). On a lovely note I went into my daughters room (aged12) whom I had presented the 12 generations back of names who go to make her who she is and she has headed the top with ' my guardian angels who look after me ' - this really touched me and you never know, maybe our children have the right idea as we tell them when someone passes over them that they are watching over us; we just don't realise how many ! Thanks to all the wonderful people and new friends who have helped me put names to some of our 'guardian angels' Donna |
