I joined genes 6 days ago and have had many people respond to hot matches so a big thank you to them - my tree has now doubled and is still growing. Also a big thank you to Maureen Noble she emailed me saying she knew a family with the same name I was trying to locate in the same area. I have now been given a phone number to contact my nans cousin who she never knew as her father died when she was a baby and all contact with his family was lost. Hopefully I will be able to get in touch with her soon and my nan will be able to know about the dad she never knew. In 2 days of joining I was able to find my Roddy relatives that I have been struggling to find for months. I wish I'd joined sooner. Monica |
