I typed in my grandfather's name, date of birth and date of death and found a whole family who never even knew I existed. My grandmother was pregnant with my mother when my grandfather died. The contact with my grandfather's family was then lost. My mother was almost 70 when she died and had not known any of her father's family. I am almost 50 and, after only three weeks of registration with Genes Reunited, I have found a whole family. I only wish I had done it when my mother was still alive. I have had a meeting with lots of cousins, second cousins etc., and am thrilled to bits by it all. Thanks Genes Reunited!!! |
