Success Stories

I have been a member of the genesreunited site for over a year, but had been more of a sedantary member rather than an active one. However about a month ago, I decided I would try and track down my mother's siblings. Amazingly within 6 hours, I had found one of her sisters and at least 2 cousins. Then using the records I found my dead father's grave, which lead to finding nearly all of her brothers and sisters (including a brother she never knew about). If we had started this search over 3 years ago we would not have got as far as we have as new circumstances have occured over the last few year which gave us opportunities to find each other. I would just like to praise this site and tell people not to give up, if you don't find who you are looking for at the moment, it may not be the right time. With a little patience and a lot of luck you will find who you are looking for. The future is now full of surprises for our family and I'm sure we will spend the next few months visiting all of our re-aquainted family.
