Hi all. I have been a member of genesreunited for around four years. In that time I have found a third cousin from my Mums side of the family in the States that I never knew existed. We have since met and got along really well. I have also found more cousins on my Dads side of the family. We also met and got on really well. My tree and family history have now expanded to include over 400 people going back up to seven generations. If you find you hit a brick wall, stop, have a break, get your head clear and then get right back in there. It's the most frustrating yet rewarding time I think I have ever spent. |
