Not only have I gone back to the 1700s with my family line, I am now in close contact with cousins from all sides of my family.(Which is important to me as im an only child who only knew as far back as my grandparents.) Without being a FULL MEMBER I wouldn't have been able to initiate contact with people from this site, Being a FULL MEMBER has enabled me to post on the TRYING TO FIND board, and ask for help and assistance on the TIPS and RECORDS OFFICE boards. Posting on the right board can also make the differance between finding that elusive rellie or not. Post your request on the wrong board and it will either get removed or not be noticed. Advice on how to post on the TRYING TO FIND board is on my thread on General Topics Board.....entitled 'MESSAGE BOARD GUIDELINES ..TIPS AND TRICKS The joining fee is just a little over what a certificate costs, and to those who are serious about doing their family history, many of these certs will come part and parcel with your hobby. Its also the rough price of a Mcdonalds meal for two...but lasts a full year, unlike the meal which lasts a few hours until you are starving again. Elaine x
