GALLACHER SUCCESS STORY IN AUSTRALIA Thanks to Genes Reunited a lot of the Gallacher family tree in Australia has been located. Originally from Lanarkshire in Scotland, the Gallachers emigrated to Victoria, Australia in 1858 and settled in the western district of Victoria. Within a week Jill and Jean were exchanging research and certificates. Jill thought she must be about the only person in Australia researching this family. As Jean says, ''I joined the site one day and was in touch with you the next. That's success'. Jill and Jean welcome enquiries and contributions regarding Gallacher family research. |
