Wow, what wonderfull site this is, i only joined 4 days ago not knowing anything but my grandads name and not knowing how to find out about him, so much help was offered by such lovely people,. Well let me tell you, i found my cousin carole and low and behold she has traced our family back to the early 1800s, then i found a second cousin on my grandmas side with all her tree, back to 1800s, im totally overwhelmed, now i know where i come from, thanks to everyone, you know who you are. Im one very happy lady. Any more Bells, Dawsons, Bate, in the durham area ? good luck to everyone searching, lynn. (r.e.) Matthew Dawson Bell Durham.
