When I was younger i spent alot of time with my cousin's on my dad's side. When my parent's split up i lived with my mother and my dad did'nt spend much time with us then he fizzled out with contact only hearing from him once in a bluemoon. Due to this we lost contact with my dad's sister and my cousin's. We went from seeing them every weekend and staying in holidays to loosing contact all together. I only started my family tree on this site about a month ago so while i was checking through the site seeing if anyone else had any of the same relatives as me i noticed that there was someone who was sharing alot of the same names on my dads side. This person then contacted me about it only to find that it was my cousin who i haden't seen for nearly 20 years. We have also discovered that we are not that far from each other and the rest of her family are really excited about us finding each other. We now talk as often as possible and are hoping to arrange a meeting between us all.To be truthful i never thought that in my wildest dreams I would make contact through this site or any but how wrong was I. |
