My 82 year old father knew nothing of his family beyond his Grandfathers name. He was even unaware of his Grandmothers name. However, last night I was able to tell him not only his Grandmothers name but those of his Grandmother,GG/Grandparents and associated G & GG etc Uncles and Aunts. He was absolutely made up. I'm still at the 'makey learney'stage of family research and without Genes and above all taking up the offer of lookups so kindly and unselfishly offered by 2 members (to me they are real Gene Genies, you know who you are) none of this would have been possible.
