I joined GR one month ago, hoping to find any living relatives from my grandmothers family... She died in 1941, when my father was just 4 years old. 3 days ago, I had a very emotional meeting with 2 of my fathers cousins, and am planning to meet the rest of the family soon.. They in turn, didn't know my father excisted and were just as pleased with the results. I especially wish to thank a lady called Jean W, who contacted me just 2 hours after I posted a message looking for certain members of this family, (assumed dead) who informed me she was alive and well and gave me her full address. Thank you GR and all who have helped me in my quest, I now have a complete new family to get to know and love. Kila Burrows |
