Since I started doing this tree, I have found a 1st cousin and a 2nd cousin, I didn't know either existed, I have now met them both and had a great time.I also found out that my 'only child' grandfather was 1 of 10 !! My tree now goes back to 1805 on one side and 1847 on the other ,while on my wifes side it goes back to 1685. We always thought we were a Lancashire family, far from it! We range from London to Birmingham , to Yorkshire and THEN Lancashire !! I am currently looking into connections in Australia, goodness knows what that search may turn up .There are currently1289 people in it and with the info we now have we can really assume that we are only halfway WOW !! Absolutely brilliant site. Your motto should be.. If at first you don't succeed keep at it ...I did.
