re:LICKFOLD. I wish to thank Gordon Lickfold for all his help with my family tree. It was very interesting to find that there had been a family reunion in 2003, in a place called Lickfold and that there was a Lickfold Arms there! Unbelievable. I wish I could've been there. It would've been great to meet all those people from all over the world with the same surname! If any of them read this I would love them to get in touch! I am now researching the name GARDENER in the London and Essex regions from 1870 to 1950's, also WALLACE, WITHERS and DRIVER, especially Barbara Withers/or Driver. Also any JONES, GILES, WAKEMAN or HALL in Leominster, Ludlow, Droitwich, Worcestershire areas. Has anyone any information about the FIRST GREENGROCERS SHOP IN HOXTON, LONDON? Any help for this novice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks again Gordon Sylvia |
