I have made contact with a lady that could be my cousin. We were searching for 4 months my mother's birth family. Late last night we received a picture of my mother's possible half-sister, there is a likeness and it could even be a full sister! We've got some more work to do to definitely confirm all the details but we are delighted with the progress we have made since Tuesday of this week when Marguerita gave us an Italian link. Thank you to all members of GR who have helped us in the quest to find Ada Coney's family, including Sheila M., Paul, Helen & her friend Sarah and Marguerita! My mother may now have 2 nieces and a sister and a sister-in-law with family possibly in America and Italy! What a wonderful surprise just in time for Mothering Sunday! |
