Another bit of success! I only sent a letter out yesterday, and already i've had a response by e-mail. A nice lady, Susan, was married to a Robert Kendon, who unfortunatly died last year. She told me that she's pretty sure that he never worked on the railways, (Which my biological father did) However, Robert had a cousin, who was also called Robert Kendon, but changed his name to Woodruff (Reason unknown) who may have worked on the railways in Great Yarmouth, as she knew his father did. She doesn't speak to him, but told me she will try and get in contact for my sake. I mean, how nice is that? This woman is going out of her way to help me! Very pleased person here! ----------------------- I'd like to add a BIG thankyou to everyone who's sent me information about Robert Woodruff. I didn't even have to ask! What lovely people you all are! Darren |
