I joined Genes Reunited just 2 weeks ago. I have been genetically starved of all my extended family including contact with grandparents cousins etc., all my life. Within 2 days I had contacted a third cousin. She sent me photographs, including one of my Great, Great Grandmother! I have received certificates and she gave me access to her tree which was an unbelievable help. (You know who you are THANK YOU). As if that wasn't enough I am now thrilled to be in contact with my first cousin and we are assisting each other in our quest to reunite in family knowledge that has been lost. I can recommend becoming a member of this site, It is unbelievable value and it will just be a matter of time before you have made contact with your family, chances are it will be sooner rather than later! |
