Hi l only started my search up my Mothers maternal line on 3rd March 2006 with about 60 close family members and within 9 days have 280 members dating back to 1764, wow! Have had contact with a 4th great granddaughter like myself for a few days and today have made contact with 4th great grandson! Thank goodness for modern technology, no doubt the leg work starts now but wonder what our ancesters would have made of it though! This is VERY adddictive so it's been good to have an understanding husband and endless cups of coffee, well l've already done his tree so he can't complain. I can go back on my mothers paternal line to only 1815 so some more work there, then it'll be time to start following my fathers line. Should keep me out of trouble for quite some time l think!!!!!!!! Good luck to everyone in your searches. Virginia |
