Although I joined GR about two years ago, I'd never really had the time or information needed to get involved in building a tree. Two weeks ago I answered a message from one member, and made a tentative enquiry to another. As a result of just these two contacts, I now have two very long branches from both sides of my family, and have found family living very nearby who I didn't even know existed. I'd like to thank Brian Sleet and Wendy Bloom for saving me months of searching, and I'll be forever indebted to them. I'm astounded by the amount of people who are so willing to help others who are not even related to them. Thank you all so much - like one giant family isn't it? |
