We had hit a brick wall tracing my husbands family, we found them in lelant in Cornwall but they left there in the late 1800's and we had no idea where they had gone. I decided to trace my family tree and someone pointed me towards a gentleman who had extensive records on my family. Not only was he able to fill in gaps for me, but he was also able to supply a host of details about my husbands family and allowed us to trace several generations we knew nothing about, they had moved to Devon before moving to Scotland where my husband was born. We are now in touch with a lady who is related to us from several generations ago. we have been able to give her information she did not know, and she has filled in gaps for her Grandmother who is still alive at 92. |
