Greetings. I was adopted in 1946. Bought a computer four years ago and began my search for my birth family. A long story with a happy ending. I am from a once famous family. Doyle Carte and Sadler's Wells and more. Performing arts no less. . I have a brand new brother and an extended family who welcomed me with open arms. Well pleased. Now I can try to help others. I provide free searches from NATIONAL BURIAL INDEX. No charges and no obligation. I also have UK voters list up to 2004. England. Scotland, and Wales.. The burial index lists 13 million listings but no guarantee any you seek will be listed. One of my other interests is digital photos of grave markers and Ancestral Homes for people in Yorkshire area. I can't help with adoption other than advise how to start. All the UK adoption law is on the web. Check it all out. Visit my Ancestral Images site. I will be delighted to give you my URL. I also have CIVIL REGISTRATION INDEXES 1837-2003. Good luck. [email protected] |
