It is all very spooky. I have been contacted by my uncle, who I didn't know existed. He was tracing his family tree and sent me a letter in the hope I was the person he was looking for, and I was. I now have many relatives after many, many years of thinking I only had my wife and my children, since my mother & grandmother died. There are many others out there who my new found family still have not managed to get contact with. I will be meeting up with my uncle in a couple of weeks time and I'm so looking forward to it. I will also be meeting up with an aunt shortly afterwards. For a man on the other side of 50 this is all very bizarre. My wife is as thrilled as I am. |
