Brick wall down at last!!! and I am so excited. Have been trying to find where my GGrandad, Alexander Fitzsimon, had gone after 1899. Not on the 1901 census although his Wife and children were. Wife not down as Widow. Lots of help from people on on the site, like to thank them all again, but no luck. As a last resort, i contacted Kevin Asplin (Boer War site) last week. Had an e-mail saying he would help to look for military records etc, e-mailed me yesterday to say, he has found all records and they will be with me about Tuesday. My Sister thinks I am potty, maybe I am, but its a great feeling to know at last the history. Ann |
