Thanks Genes Reunited for enabling me to find out not only information about ancestors on both sides of the family, but also for the 3 cousins all researching the same family at the same time, that I have found. We all have the same gr gr grandmother, and its been wonderful to find out about them and chat, and help each other. Hopefully one day, we may even get the opportunity to meet. I have only been researching the family history for 4 months, and have been able to fill many gaps several generations back, thank to many who have contributed. A very special thank you to Rick and Andy who have been absolutely wonderful right since the beginning of my trek, with helpful advice, looking things up, offering suggestions and handy tips, sites etc. Rick thank you for the leg work too while you were in the Manchester area, and the photos and my grandmother's marriage certificate. May your kindnesses be returned to you tenfold!!!! I hope you both know just how much I appreciate everything you've done to help me. Thank you also to those GR members who reply to enquiries even if there is no relationship, as it makes things easier once false leads are eliminated, and also those who have passed on information they have come accross during their research, that has been relevant to me. This is an exciting, frustrating and enjoyable learning experience, finding rellies that i never knew existed and finding out about ancestors and the times theylived in. Thanks GR for making it possible. Barb
